Institutions with distinct purposes.
The House of Merval
Private Investment Office
A private investment office concerned with stewardship, governance and continuity across generations.
It carries forward a family tradition of responsibility and works quietly alongside a small number of families, through relationships defined by discretion, judgement and long-term trust.
Merval Research
Independent Research
Independent research on companies, markets and capital, designed to support independent judgement.
The Merval Foundation
Supporting Children Welfare & Financial Illiteracy
The institutions connected to my work pursue distinct purposes. They are presented separately and should be understood on their own terms.
The Merval Foundation is committed to supporting children’s welfare and addressing financial illiteracy through education. It develops programmes designed to give younger generations a practical understanding of money, ownership, enterprise, risk and long-term responsibility.
Its work seeks to bring this education into schools and other institutions, so that financial understanding is not a privilege reserved for those born into it. The objective is to establish the foundations of independent judgement, responsible citizenship and greater opportunity across generations.
